I would recommend Tantara Lodges to anyone who wants the country peace & quiet but close enough to local towns to explore. Really comfortable accommodation with a nice hot tub to relax in, we found the owner has 2 cats and 2 dogs which patrol the park they will keep you company if you’re that way inclined. Mrs P, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne And Wear 28 March 2011

A very beautiful site, well kept very peaceful. Lodge very comfortable and clean. Hot tub wonderful, well presented and secluded and looked after well. Perfect location. Mr M, WALLSEND, Tyne and Wear 28 September 2009
I would recommend Tantara Lodges, which is situated in a beautiful small town called Pickering, in North Yorkshire. The local people are friendly and helpful, along with lots to do, like the Steam Railway, and the Railway museum within York itself. If you do not like railways there are loads of other things to keep you occupied for all ages. The lodges at Tantara are clean, a welcome homely feel whilst relaxed and stress free. The Hot Tub is a nice touch to ensuring a holiday treat. As this is the first time i have been at a Hoseasons holiday resort, I found it very impressive and would be looking forward to my next one. Mr H, HORNCHURCH, Essex 26 September 2009
The lodges were very nice and set in a nice location for anybody who likes to take part in hillwalking. Mr S, AYR, Ayrshire 20 September 2009
I would definitely recommend this holiday to other people as the tantara lodge was beautiful, extremely clean and had everything you needed for your stay. The staff were friendly and I was happy to discover that the filters on the hot tub are cleaned after each visit and the water is changed, it was great to see that the standards kept were high. I took my mum for her 50th birthday weekend and she thoroughly loved it! I would definitely go back - next time for longer! I felt very relaxed when I left, it was worth every penny!
